My Story…
Amber, Summer, and I have been volunteering at the After-school program for the past 2-years. It has been an enriching experience and so wonderful to get to know some of the kids, staff, and leaders. We love to be able to continually support Urban Promise in any way we can.

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...
>To be known, accepted and valued.
>To become just like their role models.
>To dream.
They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
