My Story…
Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate. These children are often unable to eat, speak or even smile. With support from donors and volunteers around the world, Operation Smile Canada helps by providing free life-changing surgeries.
Support me as I raise funds for Operation Smile Canada’s Race for SMILES this year at the virtual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Join our SMILE movement as we strive to provide 3,000 life-changing surgeries to children living with cleft conditions.
While the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon has gone virtual this year, my run will be anything but virtual. On October 9th, I will be hitting the pavement and the actual Toronto Waterfront and running 21.1km with the goal of raising some funds for this worthy cause.
While we continue to work to flatten the COVID-19 Curve in Canada, the Cleft Curve continues to grow and won’t recede until we get back to elective surgeries around the world.
With 300 children born with cleft conditions everyday, we need your help. Funds you raise today will help support children waiting for surgeries and treatment when we are able to safely return to the operating rooms and Care Centres.
These children and families need your help more than ever!
