Hi Friends, I will be joining the Run for Promise Team this year to fundraise for Urban Promise Toronto. Urban Promise supports children and youth living in Toronto communities who are up against some tough realities. Their mission is to reach those kids, raise them up to become young adult leaders that can impact their communities. Please consider supporting Urban Promise as they continue to impact the children in our Toronto community through the love of Jesus.

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...
>To be known, accepted and valued.
>To become just like their role models.
>To dream.
They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
