My Story…
Like many, COVID-19 has significantly changed the landscape for charities and specifically those who are living with a ASD diagnosis. The ASO has seen an almost 200% increase in outreach for support from individuals and families and now, we need your help! The ASO receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and fundraising efforts like the STWM to provide services free of charge to the ASD-1 community…. and beyond!
As the only charity organization solely devoted to serving the ASD-1 community in Ontario, the ASO has been offering FREE services to individuals and families across the province for nearly two decades (est. January, 2000). It is an extremely efficient charity, void of most operating and overhead costs and with very minimal expenses. The majority of funds are aimed where they are most needed – serving people affected by Asperger Syndrome and their families.
