My Story…
On Sunday October 25th I will be participating in the Scotiabank 5k run to fundraise for UrbanPromise Toronto with some of my friends. It's an organization that has had a positive impact on children and youth in various ways. With everything that has been happening in our world - from the racial injustices to the Covid-19 pandemic - walking along alongside the families connected with UrbanPromise is especially vital during these times. I am looking for at least 20 people to donate $50 to help support the work UrbanPromise Toronto does. You can of course give more or less as I am grateful for all donations received no matter what the amount! Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...
>To be known, accepted and valued.
>To become just like their role models.
>To dream.
They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
