My Story…
As many of you already know, I have been with ALPHA since 2009 after watching the docudrama "Iris Chang - The Rape of Nanking." I started as a volunteer, worked as a Project Coordinator in 2010, and have been volunteering ever since!
ALPHA's mission is to foster awareness of an often overlooked aspect of WWII history, in the interest of further the values of justice, peace, and reconciliation, both for survivors of the past and for those who shape the historical narratives of the present and future.
Despite the fact that I no longer live in Toronto, I always return to support ALPHA's mission by volunteering yearly at the ALPHA fundraising dinner. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we will not be able to host the annual fundraising dinner, so I am seeking your financial support for me running the virtual Scotiabank 5K in Ottawa.
Thank you for your generous support!
