My Story…
Hello everyone, I will be running the Scotiabank Virtual Race in memory of our dear friend, Sunny who left us early spring this year due to lymphoma. He was a very special type of person always looking on the positive side of things. He influenced many people while have this condition and showed many people how to live life even when faced with so many adversities. I am very proud and honored to have known Sunny. Please help us try and make a difference by donating to his charity of choice, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Description
I am changing the world while achieving my personal best by joining The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training! My fundraising will help explore new frontiers in blood cancer treatments while I discover new reserves of strength and performance in myself.
Did you know:
That an estimated 128,000 people are affected by blood cancers in Canada?
That someone is diagnosed every 23 minutes?
And that every 72 minutes someone will die?
I want to do my part to help change these statistics.
Unfortunately, too many of us have had cancer touch our lives and we all want to know how we can help loved ones who are battling cancer. We’re not all doctors or researchers, but we can all do our part to help.
I can train. You can donate.
