As many of you know, for many years, I've had the pleasure of volunteering at Matthew House, a wonderful charity that welcomes and assists newly arrived refugees. In honour of the amazing people I have met there, I'm going to be walking 5km in support of them. Any support you can give, will be a blessing to those who need it most. Thank you and God bless you!
Description
Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees.
