Thank you so much for supporting me at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon this year! For anyone who knows me, you know I am NOT a runner. This is very outside of my comfort zone but I'm excited to partner with a few friends in the CF community to raise even more funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. This year, I've committed to joining as many fundraising campaigns as I can to honour my brother Matt, who passed away November 2019. Thank you so much for supporting me on this journey!
I am excited to participate in the 2020 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon with Team CFCanada through the virtual #RunYourWay4CF challenge! This event raises awareness and critical funds for cystic fibrosis (CF) research, advocacy and healthcare.
Every week in Canada, one baby is diagnosed through newborn screening and the funds raised here are helping the almost 4,300 Canadians living with CF. My vision is to find a cure or control for this devastating genetic disease.
Thanks to our generous community, we are closer than ever to ending CF. The median age of survival in Canada for those living with CF is 52.3 years, but we still have work to do. Cystic Fibrosis Canada is continuing to fight for our CF community to gain access to life-changing medications and ensure that no one in our community is left behind.
Donate and together we can make history!
Thank you in advance for your support.
