My Story…
Hi friends & fam,
As you may know I am once again running the Toronto Waterfront Half-Marathon and this will mark the 5th year that I am running for my Aunt Anna who passed away from cancer.
Anna was someone that always put others before herself and her courage and dedication to supporting charities was always so inspiring.
I created Running for Anna 5 years ago as a way of remembering my Aunt and also raising more awareness for those affected by cancer. I’ve raised $8,000+ and am hoping to top $10,000 in 2020!
228 Canadians die from cancer everyday and I’m setting a goal of 228km to run in memory of these individuals and my Zia Anna.

I'm running for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
Currently, COVID-19 is putting unprecedented stress and pressure on Canada's healthcare system, frontline workers and patients. At the Princess Margaret, our cancer patients and survivors are particularly vulnerable, especially those with compromised immune systems. In an effort to take action against these challenges, we remain dedicated in our vision to Conquer Cancer, and with your support we can raise funds to continue ground breaking research, clinical trials and treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
