My Story…
Hey Friends, those of you who know me well are familiar with my story and the way Alzheimer’s Disease has devastated my family. Adding insult to injury, my brother, who is currently in a long term care home, was diagnosed with Covid-19 and recovering. My mother and brother both were hit by Alzheimer’s in their early fifties. Yanked away from their loved ones, a shell of their former selves. The times are hard on everyone, I know. Every little bit helps, the research is promising and there might be a world soon where the horrible Spectre of this illness will be a thing of the past. Tax receipts produced immediately. I’ll be running a half marathon during the month of October (virtually, but for real) for the Scotiabank Marathon. Thanks to all!
