Bring Hope to Kids!
Between October 1-31, I will be participating in the virtual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in support of Toronto City Mission (TCM). My goal is to raise $1,000, which will help offer a safe place for children, youth, and families to build positive relationships through offerings such as after school programs, tutoring, day camp, and leadership development.
TCM is a non-profit organization that, through God’s transformational power, builds loving relationships to bring hope to children and families impacted by poverty in high priority communities in Toronto. One out of four children in Toronto are living in poverty, TCM desires that each child and their families will find hope through Jesus Christ. TCM believes in training, teaching and mentoring whole families to become leaders in their own communities.
Description
Join Toronto City Mission (TCM) by participating in a virtual 5K, half or full marathon walk/run! Funds raised will help children, youth, and families impacted by poverty to participate in preventative programs such as after school programs, tutoring, and Sonshine Day Camp. One in four children in Toronto are living in poverty; we desire that each child and their families will find hope through Jesus Christ. We believe in training, teaching and mentoring whole families to become leaders in their own communities.
