My Story…
I am running to raise funds for Matthew House. Matthew House is where refugees find a safe place to seek shelter in a welcoming home-like environment besides receiving essential settlement services when they arrive in Toronto. Each one of them leave the shelter ready to face the challenges confidently and the organization continues to support them as they move on.
Matthew House is a charity close to my heart, and I greatly honor it's mission and vision towards serving most vulnerable in our community. Help MH to extend this critical support to many more refugees by donating any amount you can.

Description
Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees.
