This is it!!!
This weekend I will be walking 10k in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. My husband, sister and a few close friends are walking to raise funds to help homeless street cats in Toronto.
As most of you know, my spare time is spent fostering street cats for Annex Cat Rescue. Since April 2020, I have assessed / fostered 11 rescued cats for Annex Cat Rescue. Thanks to all the volunteers, these cats are now safe, warm, fed and well on their way to finding their forever home.
This year we need help more than past years as many fundraising events have been cancelled because of COVID-19. The only thing the virus hasn’t affected is the number of homeless, sick, injured street cats that require medical care.

Description
Annex Cat Rescue is dedicated to eliminating cat homelessness in Toronto. Until that time, we care for cats and kittens in a variety of ways including (but not limited to) daily feeding and colony management, medical/dental care, socializing, fostering, adopting or in the case of feral cats, spaying/neutering and returning (TNR). Now in its 23rd year, ACR remains 100% volunteer-run with 90% of monies raised helping cats in partnership with veterinarians who provide services at reduced rates.
We have a no-kill policy so cats remain in foster care until a permanent home is found.
