My Story…
This year, I’ll be running the virtual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon to raise funds for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. In past years, I've participated in the annual Scotiabank Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer alongside my colleagues from Hatch, a PMCF fundraiser which was cancelled this year in the wake of COVID-19. Determined to find another way to support in its place, I decided to challenge myself to run my first-ever marathon on October 18th.
The Princess Margaret is one of the largest cancer centers in the world, dedicated to caring for patients and researching to try to find a cure for cancer in our lifetime. Every donation you can make helps them get one step closer to achieving that goal—thank you so much in advance for your support!
Description
I'm running for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
Currently, COVID-19 is putting unprecedented stress and pressure on Canada's healthcare system, frontline workers and patients. At the Princess Margaret, our cancer patients and survivors are particularly vulnerable, especially those with compromised immune systems. In an effort to take action against these challenges, we remain dedicated in our vision to Conquer Cancer, and with your support we can raise funds to continue ground breaking research, clinical trials and treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Thank you so much for your support and with your help, we will CONQUER CANCER IN OUR LIFETIME!
