My Story…
For the past 2 years I have had the privilege to participate in the Scotiabank run with Inner City Outreach.
Inner City Outreach is a non profit organization that operates out of Christian Centre Church which is located in the Jane and Finch neighborhood.
They run programs in the Jane and Finch community for the kids and youth there.
This year has looked a lot different because of Covid 19, however the need remains the same. To help the kids and youth and also their families.
I would love it if you are able to help me reach my goal of $2000 to help the families here in the community.
Description
Toronto’ s Jane and Finch area is a home to many families who are low-income, single parent households, or new immigrants. Children growing up in this neighbourhood live in close quarters to gang activities, and their public schools have few resources. Inner City Outreach (ICO) provides educational, recreational and mentoring programs to children and youth in the Jane and Finch community. Register today and run for ICO! Runner will receive a free T-shirt! You will also receive a refund of your registration fee if you raise over $150!
