I visited Dekpor in the Spring of 2019 and left with a changed perspective on life and a duty to advocate for this amazing organization. DSDO provides students and the community with so much support and love. They are a team of volunteers that are so intentional with how each dollar is allocated to make the biggest difference in the community. They show me exactly HOW the funds are being used. The incredible IMPACT you can make is amazing! To put it in perspective, $50 can feed one child for 4 months! A donation of ANY amount would be graciously accepted and so SO appreciated! You can make a world of difference. Thank you for your love and support.
UPDATE 10/6: YOU ALL HELPED ME MEET MY GOAL! My original goal was $1500 and within just a couple weeks some amazing people helped me go above and beyond that. That being said, WE ARE NOT STOPPING THERE! There are SO MANY kids in Dekpor on the wait list for the food program! Let's smash the updated goal of $2500 and feed these children!!!!!
FYI: The donation amount is in CAD! For example, if you donate $5 your actual USD donation amount will be $3.77 (varies daily based on the exchange rate). This is because the organization and race are based out of Canada. Rest assured 100% of the funds goes directly to the organization! Two of the three directors of DSDO are from Canada and DSDO is a registered Canadian charitable organization. Two directors live in Dekpor, Ghana.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Dekpor School Development Organisation = hard-working volunteers improving: education, sanitation, clean water, nutrition, health, sponsorships, business start-ups, and crop diversity in rural Ghana.
Funds raised at this event are what allow us to run our food programme. Breakfast and lunch are served to 150 students at school, but, gee, we'd love to add even more of the 1000 students to the list of recipients!
You, too, can be part of something wonderful and SEE your fundraising efforts actually MAKE a DIFFERENCE! Give generously. Every single dollar truly helps!
Just to give you an idea of your impact:
$50 feeds a child for 4 months
$165 gives breakfast and lunch every school day + health care + summer school fees paid for 1 child for a year!
