Help Jay raise money

For participating in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020

My Story…

Fern and I are participating in the 2020 Scotiabank Charity Challenge at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. We are raising funds for the Dr. Jay Children's Grief Centre. This program provides free grief counselling to dying children and to children whose parent or sibling is dying. The Dr. Jay Children's Grief Centre is the only program of its kind in Canada and is entirely dependent on private donations. The program receives no government funding. We also support our Camp Erin which is a free weekend long bereavement camp designed for children who have lost a loved one Fern and I are asking to please help by sponsoring us for this most worthwhile cause. We will be walking together so please direct your donation to the link below. We will continue to collect donations under Jay's name. Most sincerely Fern and Jay Bacher

Description

Please help support The Dr. Jay Children’s Grief Centre, that exists to provide support to grieving children and youth. The Centre provides counselling to children, youth and families (0-21) who are living with the dying and death of a sibling, parent or primary caregiver, or who are living with terminal illness themselves. We help to build capacity of individuals, families and communities and support one another in grief, as well as to maintain connections with loved ones who have died.
