I'm fundraising for Matthew House Toronto through the 2020 Scotiabank Charity Challenge 10k this October! While things are a bit different this year and I'm getting a late start, I am now onboard and am going to try the new, 10k offering. Thanks for your consideration!
Description
Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees.
