My Story…
Trying something different this year—my 12th year participating in this event! Happy to be able to run as part of a four-person marathon relay team in support of the work of Matthew House.
Running is a great way to keep physically active and mentally healthy in these crazy times, and it is a privilege to join this marathon team in honour of all of the wonderful, resilient and resourceful people I have met at Matthew House!

My Toronto is Your Toronto
Description
Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees. Thank you!
