My Story…
Hello Families and Friends!! Thank you to those who supported the #bikeforpromise2020 fundraiser in August! As we continue to do things differently to make 2020 a positive year, I'll be RUNNING A VIRTUAL MARATHON (42.2km) over 2 days in support of Urban Promise! You think biking 100km was hard, try torturing yourself running 22km on back to back days! On October 17th and 18th, I'll be running 2 half marathons (22km each) to make up my full marathon! (Sorry everyone, without the formal setup, my body just cannot do a full marathon all in one day) I always believe in living out my faith by words and in actions! My motivation came from my experience helping out at Urban Promise camp last summer. Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
