My Story…
Hi, I'm Adam and I'm raising funds for Autism Ontario Kids (AOK) Camp in York Region. It's a unique summer program for campers with autism and was started by parents back in 1987. This summer the (amazing!) staff had to get really creative due to Covid-19 ... and they organized a Camp@Home Program with cool virtual activities (fitness, games, cooking, crafts, dances) and a Drive-Thru Camp to keep campers connected with their friends and having fun. During the month of October I will be walking 10k (probably more!) for this important cause and I'm hoping you'll help me raise money for a camp/charity that means so much to my family :)
Description
Autism Ontario has participated in the Toronto Scotiabank Charity Challenge since 2013, to raise funds for our work supporting over 135,000 Ontarians - of all ages - on the autism spectrum. Our participants represent our 'family' - Board Directors, parents, siblings, staff, volunteers, friends, professionals and autistic individuals. 100% of funds raised come directly to Autism Ontario, and it's easy to fundraise. Do something that makes you feel good!
The work we do helps all autistic individuals and families in their communities have access to meaningful supports, information, and connections so they are equitably and seamlessly supported across their life course. You are helping us make these a reality.
