My Story…
I'm very excited to participate in RUN FOR PROMISE for the second time, in the Virtual Scotibank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. THIS YEAR, I will be participating in the 10 km walk/run! ALL MONEY DONATED goes to the amazing ministry of , UrbanPromise Toronto, and the work we continue to do in Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods. Tyler and I will be walking/running the 10 km throughout the month of October, but we can receive donations until the end of October! This is my first year serving at UrbanPromise Toronto as a Ministry Supervisor and I'm so excited for what Jesus has in store this year in the Rexdale Community!

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...

They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
