My Story…

This year has been a difficult time for all of us- charities in particular have suffered- our refugee giving is SO IMPORTANT as lots of new comers to Canada live in entry level housing where Covid19 has hit hard! Please consider giving- I am so proud of the work we do at our church for refugees. Thanks for considering giving. Love Sandra

Interested in changing the lives of others for the better in a direct and compelling way? The “Running and Walking for Refugees Team” at Islington United Church would love to have you join us. For 41 years we have sponsored refugee families and individuals worldwide. Over a 12-month period we provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment including accommodation, furnishings, clothing, food, transportation, medical care, education, employment opportunities and friendship.
