Why do I do this? So many reasons. Because mental wellness is something we all strive for. Because we all know people who experience mental health and substance use challenges. They are our friends, our family and our acquaintances. Because I raised three amazing sons and I know there are times as a parent or teen that you need to talk to someone. Because in these times of worldwide turmoil it is good to be outside walking and connecting to the world. So join me in raising funds for Lumenus Community Services, a brand new agency created when Skylark, Griffin, Adventure Place and Etobicoke Community Centre came together as one on April 1, 2020. Creating seamless services for children, youth, adults and families is what we do. Starting off in the middle of a pandemic has created more urgency to our mission and is part of the "can do" spirit that is inherent in our DNA. What are you waiting for?
