My Story…
Each year since 2013 I've tried to participate in the STWM to support a charity important to me. Though the format is different this year, I am fully committed to putting an honest effort into completing a half-marathon.
Putting one foot in front of the other for 21km is relatively easy compared to the service Future Possibilities for Kids provides to under-served communities and children in their middle years. Their programs focus on the development of leadership skills in kids by supporting their abilities to be change makers.
FPK kids have accomplished numerous goals including: building an accessible playground, planting trees, sharing kindness to front-line workers, raising awareness for anti-bullying, petitioning for street signs, creating student councils, welcoming immigrants, and countless more.

To date, more than 5,000 Kids have participated in our one-of-a-kind community leadership and life skills development programs – Ready, Set, Goal!, and Ready, Set, Connect!. Because of the support of people like you, children from underserved communities in the GTA are able to consider new possibilities, set profound goals, and contribute to the world around them.
