Help Jim raise money

For participating in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020

My Story…

Thank you for your past support of my 5 km walks for our camps’ capital upkeep; if you’re a newcomer to this annual event, be generous!!

The five camps which I support and raise money for are operated on a non-profit basis by United Church volunteer boards.

Starting with Sparrow Lake 108 years ago, Camps Big Canoe, Sparrow Lake, Scugog, Simpresca, and Ryde Lake have helped children and youth develop self-esteem, independence, leadership skills, and environmental awareness. The camps are open to all and no child is turned away due to lack of funds.

This  year especially, the camps need our support.  Theyre spending a lot of money and volunteer labour to upgrade their facilities.

Click the link and help me raise $2,500.  This year, I’m signed up to complete 10 km (cumulatively) in the month of October and 5 of those km will be in one jaunt (on my trusty treadmill.)

Donate to help Jim raise money for Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020’s fundraising campaign.
