My Story…
Hi everyone,
As many of you know I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 11. While I personally have struggled with this illness, it has also shown me how to be a resilient person. As much as it is painful to deal with, it has also made me who I am today and for that I will be forever grateful.
Cassie and Friends came into my life last year when I was asked to speak about childhood arthritis at their Scotiabank run event last year. This amazing foundation spoke to me and what I want to fight for. A pain-free future for kids.
3 in every 100,000 kids are diagnosed with this debilitating disease and every little bit I can raise for it can help those kids. Please donate what you can.

Cassie and Friends is the only charity in Canada 100% dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families affected by Juvenile Arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. Since 2007, we've raised over $2.5 million for JA research, equipment, education and support. By 2023, our goal is to touch the lives of 10,000 or more children and their families per year to help them not just survive but thrive with chronic disease.

Juvenile Arthritis is a painful, chronic disease impacting every 3 in 1,000 or 24,000 children in Canada. That’s just as common as Juvenile Diabetes and twice as common as cystic fibrosis - and yet receives far less attention and funding.
We need your help to make sure no child is robbed of their childhood or future because of Juvenile Arthritis (JA) or any rheumatic disease!
Join us as we run or walk virtually to raise awareness and funds for JA research, education, equipment and support.
