Growing up as a mixed race, gay man on a Caribbean island where it was illegal to be gay, I know the emotional, social & mental health challenges vulnerable people face. As an immigrant to Canada & a foreign trained professional, finding our place & developing a sense of belonging can be daunting. This is why I am passionate about raising funds for infants, children, youth, adults & families dealing with challenges in their lives that are more amplified during COVID-19. I am raising funds for Lumenus Community Services where we provide accessible & integrated mental health, developmental & community services in residential, community & school settings. Please join our inspiring vision of creating seamless connections – where there are obstacles, we improve access - where there is worry, we create hope.
