My Story…
Hello friends, family, and supporters of Silent Voice.
I am once again participating in the Scotiabank run to help raise money for Silent Voice Canada. Silent Voice needs our support more than ever. The pandemic has led to the cancellation of their main fundraising event, while the need for their services has never been higher. Silent Voice has led the way in providing vital COVID-related information in American Sign Language to the Deaf Community. I encourage you to check out their COVID info page: https://www.silentvoice-covid19.com/blog/categories/silent-voice
Silent Voice has continued to provide vital services to their clients, many of whom are among the most vulnerable and marginalized members of our community.
Let's help Silent Voice keep up the wonderful work that they are doing!
This year I will be attempting a 10K run for the first time, running through High Park and along the waterfront to Marilyn Bell park and back on October 30.
Description
100% of proceeds from the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon will benefit Silent Voice programs for Deaf children, youth, adults and and families.
