Help June raise money

For participating in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020

My Story…

As many of my fellow immigrants can attest, coming to Canada can change your life. It has certainly changed mine. It's amazing what you can do - and who you can become - in a home that’s free and safe. There are over 65 million displaced people globally (about 2 Canada's worth!) They often flee for their lives in desperation, and can’t secure official refugee status beforehand. Enter Matthew House. Matthew House has been helping refugee claimants for 20+ years. With loving kindness, they welcome the stranger regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or political opinion. Matthew House raises a lot of its budget through the Scotiabank Challenge, which gives folks like you a chance to sponsor runners in the Scotiabank races in October. Races are virtual this year, so I’ll be crossing a finish line in my neighborhood instead of at Toronto City Hall. Regardless of the venue, I wouldn’t miss a chance to help support this cause. Please help me meet my goal!
