My Story…
HI Everyone i hope you will join me in supporting Humewood House this year. As you know, i have spent my career supporting wonderful charities that have made the difference in so many people's lives. I am currently the Interim Executive Director at Humewood House-a great organization supporting young women with their babies to ensure the best start both mom and baby. HH is over 100 years old. They offer residential care; schooling; counseling; daycare; and housing for young mom's. The staff are passionate and the need is great! Please help me meet my goal!!!

Humewood House strives to empower young pregnant and parenting women to make positive life choices for themselves; changing the future of their children. The range of services offered within the socially inclusive and supportive environment of Humewood House represent a comprehensive approach that addresses education, shelter, food security, physical health, life skills, child care, mental health, systemic barriers, family issues, attachment with their children, social stigmatization, and a myriad of other complexities in the lives of participants.
For 108 years Humewood House has provided support and services to young mothers and their children. Join us in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge to help us reach our $50,000 goal and raise awareness of the matrix of support services provided by Humewood House.
