My Story…
I will be running for an 9th year in the Scotiabank Charity Marathon in support of Fanconi Canada.
Fanconi Canada’s mission is to fund research towards a cure for Fanconi Anemia. Fanconi Anemia is a rare genetic disorder that afflicts children. A dear friend had a son, Aaron, afflicted with this disease. Unfortunately, in 2018 Aaron passed away after battling this disease for many years. In his honour we will continue to raise awareness and raise funds towards a cure.

Research into Fanconi Anemia (FA) is being performed worldwide by many committed researchers. FA research leads to a better understanding of the cancers that affect many FA patients. Canadian researchers have played a leading role in FA research. Challenge yourself to run, walk or wheelchair to support FA research.
