My Story…
Dear Friend,
This year, Matthew House Toronto, a charity dedicated to creating a home for refugees will have to double if not triple its efforts to ensure the best care possible is available to those who come to our doors to seek a place to belong. The reason for this is clear!!
I, therefore, ask you to join or sponsor me to run/walk 10.55km for this great cause which draws me in year after year. Our Team, "MH Marathon Together" welcomes you! If you are interested, please reach soon so we can get you to fill the only spot preserved for you.
One more thing, unlike many things this year, on this marathon we are the ones to choose when, how, and where to run/walk. It gets better when things get worse, so come on out!!!

Matthew House is a community of homes that welcome, shelter and assist newly arrived refugee claimants in Toronto. Our desire is to restore refugee's dignity and hope by providing emotional and physical support in a homelike setting to help them heal from their journey and establish new lives in Canada. When we run for Matthew House, we send a message that says "my Toronto is your Toronto" for vulnerable newcomers like refugees. Join our team and help transform the lives of newly-arrived refugees.
