My Story…
Again this year I’m joining my grand parents, my sister Lucy and my cousins Charlotte, Penelope and Simon on Team Houston-Jardim for the Scotiabank 5k marathon. We are raising money to help support the refugees being sponsored by the Holy Trinity Refugee Committee.

Description
Our Refugee Committee invites you run or walk to support newly arrived refugees. Since 1991, we have sponsored and provided financial and moral support to around 135 refugees fleeing persecution in countries such as Afghanistan, Colombia, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq and Rwanda. Today, they are making positive contributions to our society, both economically and socially.
We are currently sponsoring a woman from Iraq and are expecting a man from Eritrea this year. We need your help raising funds so that we may support them. If you raise over $1000.00, we will reimburse your registration fees.
