Description
We are excited to participate in the 2020 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon with Team CFCanada through the virtual #RunYourWay4CF challenge! This event raises awareness and critical funds for cystic fibrosis (CF) research, advocacy and healthcare.
Every week in Canada, one baby is diagnosed through newborn screening and the funds raised here are helping the almost 4,300 Canadians living with CF. Our vision is to find a cure or control for this devastating genetic disease.
Thanks to our generous community, we are closer than ever to ending CF. The median age of survival in Canada for those living with CF is 52.3 years, but we still have work to do. Cystic Fibrosis Canada is continuing to fight for our CF community to gain access to life-changing medications and ensure that no one in our community is left behind.
