Our story…

NYO Canada invites you to walk or run with us to raise money at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. The National Youth Orchestra of Canada (NYO Canada) is a not for profit charitable organization founded in 1960 to nurture outstanding young musical talent in Canada. Our mission is to recruit the best young classical musicians from across the country and prepare them for a careers as professional orchestral musicians. We offer a comprehensive program that encompasses a full range of skills and experiences, entirely tuition free.

Description

NYO Canada, along with Team Molto Presto, invites you to walk or run with us to raise money at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. This year is our 60th anniversary and our goal is to raise $10,000 which will fund 10 musician scholarships for the 2020 Orchestra. Anyone participating will receive a "I Heart NYO" t-shirt and participants raising $500 or more will receive two complimentary tickets for a concert of their choosing during the 2021 Tour. Help us launch Canada’s next generation of professional orchestral musicians.
