Greenhouse Scholars is catalyzing change in low-income communities by cultivating leaders and role models from those communities. As a 1st generation college student, from underrepresented and low income background, I personally know many of the challenges faced by students aspiring to graduate from college. Luckily, I found programs similar to Greenhouse Scholars that provided mentoring from leaders in my dream careers, communities of support, and/or scholarships to afford school. Programs such as these are crucial in providing equitable support and opportunities for underrepresented students, which is why I'd love for you to join me in giving to an organization that is working to dismantle barriers for the next generation! Additionally, I'm passionate about bike commuting and believe bike riding provides endless benefits to both the individual & society. This fundraiser also uplifts women through bike riding & provides a space for women to support women!
