Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the extreme uncertainty around hosting events in the month of June, we’ve made the decision to convert the 2020 San Jose Giant Race presented by Alaska Airlines to a virtual event.
We know this kinda feels right now like a one run game ending but just like every other Giants game - there’s always another one tomorrow - and in this case you still get to participate virtually!
All registered runners will receive their race day goodies (race bib, official shirt, and medal) after participating remotely in the safety of their own neighborhoods.
In addition, expect some exclusive virtual swag - think DIY finish line, custom Zoom backgrounds, finisher wallpapers, a race week podcast, course suggestions, and even a 4-week customized training plan to help you shed that Quarantine 15 and earn that medal.
