Winter is humbling. Stepping out into a brisk -30 day in January always reminds me of how grateful I am that I get to start a day in the warmth of shelter. In Calgary, there are so many with life hanging in the balance trying to just face the challenge of a brutal chill. I've seen the work of Inn from the Cold firsthand and believe the warmth they provide to those who need it helps all of us in the community.
