My Story…
Young women should have the opportunity to succeed despite where they’ve come from or what barriers they’ve faced.
I have always loved GEM because they were founded on the belief that women mentoring girls is essential in fostering the success of the next generation, critical to creating gender equity and creating a more prosperous economy.
Currently over 60% of all high school girl applications are turned away due to lack of funds. This is unacceptable- so let's change it! Your support will invest in equal opportunity for girls to create social change and make an economic impact!
Description
I am running for Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), a top 100 rated charity offering a research-based mentorship program where high school girls facing socioeconomic challenges will breakthrough barriers, build professional skills, and are afforded an equal opportunity to impact Canada’s future workforce.
70% of applicants to GEM are turned away each year due to lack of funding. Your support will invest in equal opportunity for girls to create social change and make an economic impact.
Thank you for investing in the next generation of girls.
