My Story…
Applying for Girls E-Mentorship as a mentee was one of the best decisions that I have made. The program gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams and provided me with the opportunity to build meaningful connections with my mentors and the ladies at GEM. Through one-on-one mentorship, leadership and professional development workshops, and enrichment opportunities, GEM allowed me to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Before GEM, I never fully understood the importance of mentorship; having gone through the program, I now realize how crucial mentorship is, and I continue to seek it throughout my undergraduate career.
Please help me reach my goal and donate if you can so that we can accept more girls into GEM’s mentorship program!
Description
I am running for Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), a top 100 rated charity offering a research-based mentorship program where high school girls facing socioeconomic challenges will breakthrough barriers, build professional skills, and are afforded an equal opportunity to impact Canada’s future workforce.
70% of applicants to GEM are turned away each year due to lack of funding. Your support will invest in equal opportunity for girls to create social change and make an economic impact.
Thank you for investing in the next generation of girls.
