Help Jennifer raise money

For participating in Constantine Yorkville Run

My Story…

I'm Jen! I'm passionate about Girls E-Mentorship and I'm running again for my 4th straight year. From 2014-2015 I worked as the Director of Communications and I've been a dedicated volunteer on the Communications Committee ever since. Why? Because this program truly makes a difference. It creates a deep connection with the young women it serves. The young women who need mentorship, opportunity, professional skills, network, and confidence. This program connects with girls at that turning point age in highschool and helps them realize the potential they have inside. It's a life changing program and I've witnessed it. In this time of chaos, where many of these girls are in even more difficult situations than the cohorts before, please give any money you can. This program is a light in the darkness for many of them. The bright spot in their life when things seem so difficult in this new world.

Description

I am running for Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), a top 100 rated charity offering a research-based mentorship program where high school girls facing socioeconomic challenges will breakthrough barriers, build professional skills, and are afforded an equal opportunity to impact Canada’s future workforce.

70% of applicants to GEM are turned away each year due to lack of funding. Your support will invest in equal opportunity for girls to create social change and make an economic impact.

Thank you for investing in the next generation of girls.
