Hey guys!!! As many of you may already know, this fundraiser remains near and dear to my heart. My mom was always a super healthy woman, who rarely drank and never smoked a day in her life. She was active for the most part and lived a fairly healthy life. After experiencing some heartburn for quite some time, and when things were actually looked at and tested, it was in fact verified, that she had a tumor the size of a golf ball, 5cm, near her main artery. She was given a death sentence and 6 months left to live. How could this even happen? She was 50 years old. It was heard for me to wrap my head around and still is, to this very day. I will never forget my mom hysterically crying out and saying, “I’m going to die, I am going to die.” My mom fought a hard and courageous battle, right up until her very last breath. She ended up paying the ultimate price to this gruelling cancer. 😭 Therefore it is my job, as her daughter to raise awareness.
