Dear Friends,

We will be running 5K in the Constantine Yorkville Virtual event this year to support Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (Boost CYAC).  

In 2020, the Constantine Yorkville Run is a two-week event starting Sunday, September 13th through Sunday September 27th where participants can run anywhere! In lieu of a road race and field reception, the run will begin with a Virtual Race Day Kick-Off on September 13th and end with a Virtual Closing Ceremony on September 27th. 

Each year Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre sees approximately 800 children and teens for abuse investigations and sees another 1,000 children in trauma treatment and court preparation programs.   The road to getting help for an abused child can be confusing, intimidating and traumatizing.  Children are often required to retell the story of their abuse to 5 or more professionals before they can begin their road to healing.  Boost CYAC brings police, child protection workers, nurses, advocates, trauma therapists and court support workers under one roof to take the burden off of children and their families already facing high levels of stress and anxiety.  

We are very impressed by the impact Boost CYAC's work in the community and will be supporting them for our run.
