La Cité

Thank you for “clicking” to find out the fundraising efforts of the Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training Program at La Cite’s 911 Institute.  

The students are working at the event with the hope of raising funds towards a UAV-RPAS-Drone for their first responders.  The addition of the drone to their program will help to prepare students first-hand, with the technologies necessary to respond effectively.

UAVs-RPAS-Drones are one of the most promising and powerful new technologies to improve disaster response, relief operations and Search & Rescue.  Aerial response naturally complements traditional relief response by helping to ensure that operations can be conducted safer, faster, and more efficiently.  Just like with running, time is everything!

The students of La Cite appreciate your contribution to their fundraising efforts.  

La Cite students have been working Winterman since 2016 as part of their ongoing comms learning outreaches.
