Accelerator YMCA

Accelerator YMCA, formed in 1973, is the social services division of the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Accelerator YMCA specializes in serving youth and young adults who have experienced trauma, such as homelessness, foster care, and institutional racism. This is done by providing the tools and resources to build young people up and help them reach their goals. Accelerator YMCA serves the whole person by offering a wide array of services in the following areas: education, employment, housing, mental health and violence prevention. Accelerator YMCA serves 4,835 young adults and families each year, helping them to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Accelerator YMCA provides housing services for 330 young adults each night in King County.
