Raise money for Speaking of Dogs Rescue
Speaking of Dogs Rescue Program (SODR) is a registered charity run solely by volunteers. SODR is an all-breed rescue with a focus on senior dogs that is dedicated to assisting dogs from shelters and, when space permits, helping dogs who are surrendered by their owner. Our dogs are lovingly cared for in foster homes until we find well-matched forever homes. All dogs entering our rescue are spayed or neutered and have all their medical needs attended to (e.g. heartworm test, bloodwork, vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and often our older friends need dentals). Our adoption process entails a written application, a telephone interview, reference and veterinary checks and an in-home visit. We are committed to placing our dogs in homes that are responsible, caring and compassionate. We actively fundraise in an effort to help cover rescue related costs such as medical care, grooming, boarding, food and supplies (such as microchips, collars, harnesses and leashes). We are always in search of new foster homes where a dog can be cared for and loved until a permanent home is found. Adopt one of our dogs today!
