Our story…
Hi Everyone! This year I'll be running the marathon virtually because of COVID-19! I'll head from my house in Dundas to the 1 km milepost on the Hamilton-Brantford rail trail, which is 1.1 km away. I'll head west to the 21 km post in Jerseyville, and then just turn back home for a total of 42.2 km.
All donations go to the Atwell Centre, a truly great organization that serves Hamilton women experiencing a crisis pregnancy. They provide counseling, options, support, and other resources. Please consider donating to this great cause!
Because of crossings, no water stations, and because I am not getting any younger, I am setting a realistic goal time of 4h10minutes. Last year I was about 3:58 or something, I think. Thankfuly someone will meet me halfway with water and food!
