Proceeds from the event will go towards creating an indoor sensory garden that includes a variety of real and artificial plants with various textures, sizes, and smells to benefit residents living with dementia and acquired brain injury.  The creation of this green space will enhance the home like living conditions and activities of daily living of 300 residents and their families.  Residents, families and staff will become ‘Garden Growers’ involved in the growing and maintaining of this therapeutic garden for years to come.  Actionmarguerite St. Boniface located at 185 Despins Street is a community based, non-profit, personal care home for the elderly and adults with acquired brain injury.   Its programs and services are provided in an environment that aims at improving the lives of the residents by creating a space that meets their unique needs for dignity and comfort.
